Dr. Phil. Sophie Bruggemann (MBA)

Technology consultant with 10+ years of experience in IT transformation, cost optimization, and tech-driven business innovation.

I currently work at BCG, where I help organizations navigate complex IT landscapes and deliver measurable impact. My work focuses on evaluating IT ecosystems, improving return on investment for CTOs, and leading transformation programs. I have supported clients across industries in delivering large-scale transformations through strategic sourcing, usage analysis, and cost optimization.

Alongside my consulting work, I engage in academic and thought leadership activities as a conference speaker, guest lecturer, board member, and co-author of scientific publications.

I hold a PhD from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where my research focused on consumer behaviour on music streaming platforms, as well as an MBA with Distinction and Dean’s List honours from Imperial College Business School.
